ABOUT PREMRAJ A
Premraj Andalgaonkar is a Hindustani classical vocalist from Mumbai, trained under the guidance of eminent Gurus Surmani Bhujang Murke, Pandit Vijay Koparkar, and currently a student of Ustad Rashid Khan (TFN Academy, Kolkata).
Holding an M.A. Music and a Sangeet Alankar from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mandal, Mumbai, he has been connected to music since the age of three. Premraj has performed across India in classical, semi-classical, ghazal, and bhajan genres, sharing stages with renowned artists and Kathak performers such as Pandit Rajendra Gangani and Ustad Afsar Khan.
He has composed over 100+ ghazals, bhajans, and Sufi songs, and recorded for the Spandane album alongside celebrated musicians including Pandit Raghunandan Panshikar, Pandit Shounak Abhisheki, and Priyanka Barve. Recently had the privilege of lending his voice alongside the legendary Sunidhi Chauhan for a vibrant dance number.
Premraj’s artistry bridges traditional Rampur Gharana gayaki with contemporary expression — a true reflection of his lifelong dedication to Indian classical music.
